What YouTube Notifications can do

How fast is "fast"?
From YouTube's upload confirmation to the Discord message, the typical delay is 5–30 seconds. If an event doesn't come through, a safety mechanism delivers the notification retroactively.
Test preview without Discord spam
In the dashboard you can see at any time what the next notification would look like — using the channel's most recent real upload as an example. No test posts in the server, no guessing whether the role ping is right.
Custom bot compatible
If you have a custom bot configured for your server, notifications are sent via its token — with your bot's branding and its own rate-limit slot independent of the TeraOne pool.
History with error classification
The history tab shows the last 50 notifications with status (Sent / Error / Queued). For errors, it clearly states what went wrong — missing bot permission, deleted channel, rate limit too tight — so you can fix it without guesswork.

Does this cost anything?

Why is my notification arriving after a minute?
Normally it arrives within 5–30 seconds. If YouTube itself is lagging, our safety mechanism delivers the event retroactively — in extremely rare cases this can take up to 60 minutes.
Can I send Shorts to a different channel than Videos?
Yes — each event type (Video / Short / Live / Premiere) has its own target channel picker. Leave one empty and the event lands in the Videos channel.
What happens if a creator edits or deletes a video after posting?
Our notification stays unchanged — edits and deletes are not tracked. If the video is deleted, Discord's embedded preview will automatically show "Video unavailable" to users.
Which URL formats work when adding a channel?
youtube.com/@handle, youtube.com/channel/UC…, youtube.com/c/CustomName, youtube.com/user/LegacyName — and @handle alone as a shortcut. Video URLs (watch?v=…, youtu.be/…) are rejected with a clear error message.
